Protect your train from marauders as it races through the post-apocalyptic wastelands!

Place towers on your carriages such as refineries to accumulate scrap, or machine guns to return the heat! As the train dashs on, the option to increase the length of the carriages will be periodically available for a price. Use this to place more defences and survive!

Locomayhem is a moving tower defence game with an emphasis on fast paced reaction time. It was made for the 2024 GMTK Game Jam, under the theme Built to Scale!

I would like to point out a few bugs to anyone who's wanting to play;

• Running on a low FPS will cause the train to slow down, making gameplay exponentially easier/ slow/ boring!
• The enemy vehicles scale up over time, unfortunately I forgot to flush the time data between rounds, so after a few playthroughs you may come to find the enemies are impossible to defeat! To avoid this, you have to restart the game each time (sorry)
• Not a bug but sorry for the contribution to RSI in your clicking finger... Post jam I will make it only 1 click to destroy the gems!
